March 22, 2018 Board Meeting Agenda Item #30 Title REVISION TO THE SCHOOL AVENUE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT Description To authorize the Chair of Sarasota County Schools to approach the Mayor of the City of Sarasota to schedule a joint board meeting as soon as possible to discuss the following agenda items: 1. Revise the School Avenue Interlocal Agreement to close the public right of way between Hatton Street and Tami Sola Street to all users - motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists; and 2. Establish a commitment to moving forward with the full vacation of this public right of way.
